CLAVE ESPECIAL TAKES OVER THE GRAMMY MUSEUM® WITH A SPECTACULAR INTIMATE PERFORMANCE IN LOS ANGELES

Los Angeles, CA. May 20, 2026 Clave Especial took over the stage at the prestigious GRAMMY Museum® last night with an intimate and unforgettable performance that reaffirmed why they are one of the most impactful groups in the new wave of música mexicana.

In front of a packed Clive Davis Theater, the Salinas, California-born group delivered a special evening that blended live music, close interaction with fans, and an exclusive conversation about their journey, influences, and artistic evolution. The night was marked by electrifying energy and a genuine connection between the band and the Los Angeles audience.

During the event, Clave Especial performed songs from their latest EP, AFTERAFTER, released on April 30, along with tracks that have fueled their rise within contemporary música mexicana. The project reflects how the genre is being shaped today through interconnected scenes — from Sinaloa to Salinas, California — where collaboration and the exchange of influences create a constantly evolving sound.

The GRAMMY Museum® appearance marked another milestone in the group’s rapidly rising career, further solidifying their impact on contemporary Latin music and reaffirming the global reach they have built over the past few years.

With a sound that fuses corridos, urban sensibilities, and deeply rooted Mexican-American cultural influences, Clave Especial continues to break barriers within música mexicana. Their debut album, MIJA NO TE ASUSTES (2025), reached #2 on Apple Music, earned Platinum certification in the United States, and surpassed 3.2 billion global streams, positioning them as one of the most influential groups in today’s movement.

Under Street Mob Records, Clave Especial has established a strong presence within the scene through a series of multi-platinum releases and key collaborations that continue pushing the boundaries of the genre, reinforcing their place as one of the leading forces in the evolution of música mexicana.

With multiple industry award nominations and more than 13.9 million monthly listeners on Spotify, they have been featured on major playlists such as Viva Latino and Rompiendo, while also being recognized as Artists to Watch.

Their recent momentum includes “FERRARI,” which reached #1 on Apple Music in cities like Los Angeles and San Francisco, as well as performances at iconic venues such as the Hollywood Bowl and Estadio GNP Seguros in front of more than 70,000 fans. The group will continue its rise this summer with a highly anticipated appearance at Bélico Fest on July 12, further solidifying their presence on some of the movement’s most important stages.

With this spectacular GRAMMY Museum® appearance, Clave Especial continues leaving its mark and proving that their moment is only just beginning.
